How did Everhort get started?
Our founding team has been building software for finance and eCommerce for over 20 years. Through this work, we learned two things:
1) Cohort-based metrics are the best way to understand how well tactics to improve customer acquisition and retention are working over time.
2) The eCommerce industry is under-served by cohort-based analytics software currently on the market.
We launched Everhort in 2019 with the mission of providing accessible and actionable customer insights that help eCommerce companies grow their businesses more efficiently.
How do you protect the privacy of my data?
We use the data you make available to Everhort for the sole purpose of providing you with analytics services. We do not sell or trade your data, and we never will.
Apart from the potential use of aggregate "benchmark-style" reports that we may offer in Everhort (to, for example, show how your business compares to your industry average), we will not share your financial or customer data with any third party. These aggregate reports would contain no information that could identify a company or person.
We are fully compliant with GDPR. We have agreed to the terms of the Shopify Partner Program Agreement (parts A and D), and fully comply with them.
How do you protect the security of my data?
All traffic sent between your browser and the Everhort website is encrypted using SSL. Data you upload or that we import from your Shopify store is housed in a secure, isolated environment by our hosting provider, Heroku (a Salesforce company).
